Admission Criteria
Our Master of Arts in Christian Ministry (MACM) and Certificate of Christian Ministry (CCM) programs are open to students who wish to pursue graduate theological education and meet all requirements for admission. We do not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national origin, gender, age or disability in the admission of students to the program. To be admitted to either the MACM or CCM program, students must have a bachelor’s degree earned from an accredited or officially recognized institution, with a cumulative undergraduate grade point average of 2.5 or above.
Students may submit their applications online, observing the following procedures.
1. Upload and submit all required documents with completed Online Application Form (www.goelseminary.com).
2. Pay application fee of $100 (non-refundable).
3. Send official transcript(s) from all colleges or universities previously attended to the Admissions Office.
4. Submit two (2) references from a professor and a pastor or ministry supervisor.
When all application documents are received and the applicant’s file is created, the Admissions Office finalizes the admission based on academic records, assessment of references, involvement in Christian service, and personal maturity and goals. GTS may request additional copies and/or information from the student, should it be deemed necessary to make an admission decision. Each applicant will be asked to participate in an online interview with the Admissions Office. The interview will focus on the compatibility of the applicant’s educational and vocational goals with the intended program of study as well as any special needs (financial, personal, emotional).
